This week in Hip Hop, Tay-K was found guilty of capital murder. Also, A$AP Rocky gained the support of President Donald Trump, who made a promise to fight for the Harlem rapper’s release from Sweden and lastly, Tyler, The Creator addressed DJ Khaled’s reaction to Igor going No. 1 over Father of Asahd.

Tay-K Found Guilty

In the case of 19-year-old Taymore McIntyre, otherwise known as “The Race” rapper Tay-K, a murder sentence of life in a Tarrant County prison looms.

The Texas up-and-comer was found guilty for his role in the robbery and murder of 21-year-old Ethan Walker.

That’s not the end of Tay-K’s sentencing, though. He still faces an aggravated robbery case in Tarrant County and another capital murder charge out of another county.

President Donald Trump Promises To Help Free A$AP Rocky

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian petitioned President Donald Trump in a quest to help fight for the release of A$AP Rocky, who is reportedly being inhumanely detained in a Swedish jail.

TMZ says Kim reached out to Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner to see what could be done, who then alerted the President. Now, Secretary Of State Mike Pompeo is working on getting Rocky released.

Rocky is currently facing six years in prison and it doesn’t appear the Swedish legal system plans on letting up on keeping Rocky locked up, despite President Trump’s calls.
