With its elaborate cast — Migos, Drake, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Beyoncé, JAY-Z, Drake, Future, Chance The Rapper, Raekwon and more — it was obviously going to be a major release. Miraculously, Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. has held on to the #3 slot once again after 11 weeks in the Top 10 and Vince Staples’ Big Fish Theory debuts at #16. 2 Chainz’s Pretty Girls Like Trap Music falls 59 percent and lands in the #5 spot.
DJ Khaled Grateful For Sure
With 121,116,594 album streams, 49,527 pure album sales and 149,127 total album equivalent units sold, DJ Khaled’s Grateful makes it grand entrance in the #1 slot. This marks two back-to-back #1 debuts for the well connected DJ/producer, following 2016’sMajor Key, which was certified Gold by the RIAA roughly four months after its late July release.

Vince Staples Not Swimming With The Big Fish Just Yet
Long Beach native Vince Staples dropped his follow-up to 2016’s Prima Donna EP, Big Fish Theory,on June 23, which has landed in the #16 slot, a major improvement from his last release. Prima Donna debuted at #50 and only managed to stay on the Billboard 200 for a week. This time, the Def Jam artist’s sophomore studio album pulled in 14,929,188 streams, 14,039 pure album sales and 24,555 total album equivalent units. Although his notoriety is continuing to expand, he’s still not among rap’s upper echelon of artists, but it appears he’s getting closer.
Pretty Girls Like Trap Music A Little Less This Week
2 Chainz’s Pretty Girls Like Trap Music LP took a 59 percent plunge and settled in the #5 slot in its second week on the Billboard 200 after initially debuting at #2. The Atlanta super rapper’s latest effort was streamed 45,557,021 times and sold another 10,777 physical copies.
