Meek Mill was allegedly once held hostage by Los Angeles Crips and had to be bailed out by Rick Ross — to the tune of $50,000.

In a resurfaced interview from last year, noted gang member Luce Cannon made the outrageous claims during an appearance on AkademiksOff the Record podcast.

The Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crip claimed that the situation unfolded in a nightclub in L.A. and was in response to Meek “talking real reckless on Twitter.”

“We caught him at the club where he was performing at,” he said. “As soon as he walked in, all of the security that was with him, they spun around. I grabbed cuz like, ‘Bro, wassup?’ I said, ‘Get on the phone with Ross.'”

He added: “We grabbed the n-gga and took him outside, and we waited.”

Cannon claimed that he and his accomplices charged Rozay $50,000 in “cash” for the release of his MMG artist.

Asked if Meek would have been “in the trunk” had Ross not coughed up the money, Cannon replied: “Yeah, of course.”

He also explained that they targeted the Philadelphia rapper “because we needed that bag. He didn’t owe no money; we took the money. It’s not extortion [..] It was just a business transaction.”

Cannon also said the incident strengthened Meek’s friendship with L.A. native and fellow Rollin’ 60s member Nipsey Hussle, suggesting it happened several years ago.

“That’s why Meek and Nipsey became cool after that situation because they started using the same PR. Meek got smart and started hitting Nipsey up, and that’s why the Big U feud kept going with Nipsey,” he explained.

Meek Mill and Rick Ross have yet to respond to the story in the year since Luce Cannon’s interview.

Cannon (real name Termaine Williams) was recently arrested along with Big U and 17 others as part of a large-scale operation against the Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crips.

Charges filed against the alleged gang members include murder, human trafficking and extortion, with Big U accused of killing a rapper identified only as RW as revenge for a diss track being released about him.

In a video filmed before his arrest, Big U (born Eugene Henley) denied the claims against him, saying: “This the price of being Black and trying to help somebody, trying to help your community and do what you can. You just guilty because somebody else don’t like you.”

Big U claims to be a community activist and entrepreneur, although prosecutors allege that his non-profit organization Developing Options is a front for his illegal activity.

Luce Cannon, who made regular appearances on the No Jumper podcast, previously made headlines for claiming that he once witnessed Diddy having sex with Family Matters star Reginald VelJohnson.

VelJohnson vehemently denied the claims, telling TMZ: “That’s all bullshit. I don’t know that man. I’ve never met him before.”
