JAY-Z is returning to the stage this summer to celebrate two of his most iconic albums.
The Roc Nation mogul has announced a two-night takeover of New York City’s Yankee Stadium in July to commemorate Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint, which turn 30 and 25 years old, respectively, this year.
Hov will celebrate the anniversary of his classic 1996 debut album at the historic venue on Friday, July 10, before returning the following night on Saturday, July 11, to pay tribute to his 2001 opus.
It’s unclear if Jigga will be joined by any special guests, but given the all-star names that contributed to both albums (from Eminem and Kanye West to Mary J. Blige and Foxy Brown), it’s possible that he has a few surprises up his sleeve.
Jay’s last full-length concert was three years ago when he delivered an intimate tribute set to Andy Warhol and Jean-Michel Basquiat at Paris’ Foundation Louis Vuitton.
Ticket information will be announced shortly.
The news comes shortly after JAY-Z was announced as the headliner of the 2026 Roots Picnic festival in Philadelphia on May 30, seemingly hinting that he’s plotting a musical comeback.
The Brooklyn-bred billionaire will reunite on stage with The Roots, 25 years after they first joined forces for their legendary MTV Unplugged performance.
Hov sparked rumors about his return to rap just last month when he released the original version of “Dead Presidents” on vinyl and streaming services for the first time in celebration of the song’s 30th anniversary.
He also reverted to his original umlaut-laced stage name, JAŸ-Z, and launched the website JAYZ30.com, suggesting more anniversary celebrations are on deck. (A number of other rare singles, including 1998’s “Wishing on a Star,” have since been reissued.)
There is also speculation that the 56-year-old could release a new album this year, especially after recent comments made by longtime friend Memphis Bleek.
“I was just with him in Vegas … I said, ‘Listen, I know you’re working. Save me a verse.’ He was like, ‘Aight, I got you,’” Bleek said on Drink Champs last August.
Fellow New Yorker Cash Cobain added fuel to the fire when he told Billboard weeks later: “I heard JAY-Z’s about to drop some shit that’s gon’ shake the world.”

the amount of unpaid child support that’s gonna be at that stadium could end world hunger.
He’s throwing Trump under the bus now maybe now he gets locked up? Free Diddy he can rat. Bro lies that he didn’t set Kendrick up for the Super Bowl to upset Drake. Also Bad Bunny does not help black people.
Harvey Weinstein will expose him too. He’s attacking Trump because he’s next to get jailed. Nicki knows, Ye knows, and others know. Trying to cover up his sleepovers with Harvey and him, Pusha, Pharrell, and Eminem all being named by Epstein or with Harvey.
I hope he gets exposed. Diddy was no where near as bad. Honestly Cosby is innocent and so is RKelly unlike Jay and Beyonce.
