Super Bowl LIII will be heading to Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta next year and Bruno Mars thinks it’s the perfect opportunity for the NFL to showcase the best party ever seen on TV. A day after this year’s big game, the “Finesse” singer presented the idea of the coveted halftime show serving as a celebration of iconic ATL Hip Hop acts, such as Outkast, T.I., Jermaine Dupri, Jeezy, and Lil Jon to name a few.

The month of February marks the birthday and passing of beloved producer J Dilla, as well as the release of his magnum opus, Donuts. Hip Hop remembered Dilla on what would have been his 44th birthday. This week also marks 12 years since his passing.

A pioneer of Hip Hop and one of the people who helped launch the term “Hip Hop,” Lovebug Starski has died at the age of 57. Hip Hop remembers the Bronx-native with several tributes pouring in from every corner of the culture.
