Los Angeles, California-born rapper Blueface joined the music game in 2017, but didn’t take it seriously until after departing Fayetteville University in 2018. That year he recorded his first track, “Deadlocs,” and released his debut mixtape Famous Cryp and the follow-up Two Coccy.
This same year Blueface released a track and video for “Respect My Cryppin,” which quickly went viral across all social media platforms. “Thotiana” became Blueface’s first charting song, peaking at No. 75 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2019, a remix of the song featuring Cardi B and YG became his most successful single to date, peaking at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100. On March 13, 2020, he released his debut studio album, Find the Beat, featuring Polo G, Gunna, Da Baby, and more.
