Sunday (June 17) was Father’s Day, and the Hip Hop world flooded social media with artists expressing their love and gratitude for their fathers. Others, who are parents themselves, commemorated the day with messages to their children.
Joey Bada$$ celebrated his first Father’s Day as a dad, sharing a photo of his daughter for the first time.
Other veteran fathers, like Madeintyo, YG, Offset, and more shared photos and videos of themselves spending time with their children, with short captions conveying their love.
DJ Khaled has been obsessed with his son since his birth, to the point where he now sometimes goes by “Father of Asahd.” He uploaded several photos and videos of Asahd, who is now a year old.
Many wished their own fathers a greeting, including Lil Wayne’s teenage daughter, Reginae Carter.
