Kris Wu & Travis Scott Earn This Week’s Highest Debut With “Deserve”

Kris Wu recently released his visual for “Deserve” featuring Travis Scott and now the song is #12 on the R&B/Hip Hop Single Sales charts. It’s the highest debuting single for the week ending October 12. It pushed 8,771 digital sales upon its release.

In an interview with PAPER Magazine, the Chinese-Canadian singer explained how the pair ended up recording the song.

“It was super organic,” he said. “Travis was out of town, but we had this idea for a collaboration, you know, east and west. Travis was immediately interested in the idea and we were in the studio just talking and vibing out a little bit. We just got the hook down and we’d made this record.”

G-Eazy Returns To The Top 10 With “No Limit”

G-Eazy has returned to the R&B/Hip Hop Single Sales charts at #9 with “No Limit” featuring A$AP Rocky and Cardi B. The song has slowly been making its way back to the top after placing at #11 last week and #17 the previous week. It debuted on the chart at #13.

“No Limit” pushed 10,754 digital downloads, a six percent increase, for the week ending on October 12 and totaled 47,496 in sales overall. The song is appears on G’s forthcoming album, The Beautiful and Damned. The project is expected to arrive in December.

Post Malone Takes Over Charts With Seven Singles

Post Malone is all over the charts this week with both old and new material. His 21 Savage-assisted single “Rockstar” currently sits at #1, knocking Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” out of the top spot.  So far, “Rockstar” has sold 213,030 units and 47,572 of those are from this week. The song’s appearance on the Billboard chart has stirred up a bit of controversy. A chorus-only version available on YouTube has reportedly contributed to its success.

Stoney single “I Fall Apart” lands at #4, a jump from #7 last week. “Congratulations” featuring Quavo, also off Stoney, currently sits at #14 and is nearing a million in sales for a total of 904,893 to date.

Stoney cuts “Go Flex” (#76) and multi-platinum single “White Iverson” (#73) have also found their way onto the R&B/Hip Hop Single Sales chart this week. “Candy Paint” off The Fate Of The Furious Soundtrack is also charting at #37.
