Atlanta-raised rap star 21 Savage put himself on the radar with his debut single “Picky,” released in 2014. The following year, 21 Savage began to build a real buzz with his 2015 mixtape release The Slaughter Tape, where “Picky” was placed as a leading single. In 2016 21 Savage had a quick rise to stardom with the release of his debut EP Savage Mode executively produced by Metro Boomin. Savage Mode peaked at No. 23 on the Billboard 200. He followed up with his debut album Issa Album and collaborative studio album with Offset and Metro Boomin Without Warning in 2017 – both peaking at No. 2 and No. 4 on the Billboard 200. 21 Savage released his third studio album I Am > I Was in 2018, which was his first No. 1 album. It contained his hit single “A Lot” featuring J. Cole, which earned 21 Savage his very first grammy. In 2020, 21 Savage dropped his most recent album Savage Mode II, which also peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
