This week’s Top 10 comes with a handful of singles, remixes, and disses from (and for) female rappers. At the top of the list, supposed Jay Z mistress released sharp-edged criticism for both Jay and Beyonce over an Outkast instrumental. At #2, a DX list outlining prophetic lines from Tupac’s career rises back up the list. Rounding out the Top 3, Lil Kim co-opts Beyonce and Nicki Minaj’s recent remix into her own diss for the rapper. Later on the list, Kim also disses Nicki on a separate track alleging that the younger emcee’s style and career path is a hand-me-down. Staying out of the beef, Remy Ma provided her first post-prison track in the form of a DJ Khaled remix that appears at #4.

Elsewhere on the list Nicki Minaj releases her own new single, Lil Wayne reacts to Bobby Shmurda’s recent success, and a full Loaded Lux diss for Busta Rhymes and Meek Mill is released.

Liv Disses Jay Z & Beyonce

Rumored to be a mistress of Jay Z, Liv released a song and corresponding video this week dissing both Jay and wife Beyonce. Rapping over the instrumental to OutKast’s 2000 single “Ms. Jackson,” Liv claims that she never had sex with Jay Z but describes an alleged relationship and “[connection] on some Hip Hop shit.” “Fuck fucking to the top, me and Jay never screwed,” she raps, “We connected on some Hip Hop shit / He could be hiself wit me and he dig that shit / Us two attracted like some magnets / And us crossing paths was no accident.”

At the end of the song, Liv blasts Beyonce for the content of her songs and message she extends to “young girls.” “On some real shit, it’s time to tell these young girls some real shit,” she raps, “Tell them how you became a wife / You out here telling ’em how to surfboard / Come on now, surfboards / Monica Lewinsky / You are a married woman / Why don’t you tell these girls how to be wives.”

Released less than a week ago, Liv’s “Sorry Ms. Carter” has already racked up more than two million Youtube views.

HipHopDX Lists Prophecies Fulfilled In Tupac’s Music

Outlining some of Tupac Shakur’s most “prophetic” career raps, HipHopDX’s Michael Trampe compiled a list of five of the rapper’s lines that fit the bill. “Despite any theories we have about Tupac’s passing, his rhymes reflected some cryptic points,” DX wrote. “HipHopDX has tallied five of them that actually came true in light of recent reports of Tupac’s last words, plus the above Entertainment Weekly interview clip from 1994 about Pac wanting his homies to smoke his ashes (and they did)—’Worst case, in the cemetery, not the cemetery, sprinkled in ashes, smoked up by homies,’ he says when asked about where he will be in 10-15 years.”

Lil Kim Disses Nicki Minaj On “Flawless” Remix

After Beyonce and Nicki Minaj surprised fans with a remix to the singer’s “Flawless” track, Lil Kim returned to the public eye with another diss aimed at Nicki Minaj over the track. Cutting Nicki Minaj’s verse short once she references the “Queen Bee,” Kim goes to say, “Am I trippin’ or did this ho just say my name?” “Queen of Rap? Fuck outta here,” she adds. “The Queen is back. Fuck outta here.”

Later in the song Kim references her own diss despite having recently given birth. “Uhh, I just had a baby ‘bout a week ago / These bitches got me on my booty, yo / Look at this shit, still go my dick on her lips / I aim to stunt on a bitch.”
