On Saturday (January 21), over three million people across all seven continents came out to protest Donald Trump’s inauguration, an event that officially made him the 45th President of the United States. Dubbed “The Women’s March,” major cities like Washington D.C., New York City, Los Angeles, and Denver saw a surge in unity as men and women collectively expressed their outrage. Madonna,Janelle Monae, feminist icon Gloria Steinem, Alicia Keys, and Muhammad Ali’s daughter Maryum Ali were among them, and delivered passionate speeches to outline their refusal to accept this “new age of tyranny,” as the “Vogue” singer called it.
