This Sunday, millions on top of millions of viewers will gaze upon literally the best commercials money can buy during Super Bowl 50. Pepsi has let loose one of their spots in “The Joy of Dance,” which spotlights the living, breathing music box, Janelle Monáe.

The eclectic star begins her trek boogieing with The Contours’ classic “Do You Love Me” in the 1960s doo-wop before entering the neon hairspray of the 80s where she embodies the spirit of Madonna with “Express Yourself.” After conquering that generation, she finds herself in present-day Wondaland as the iconic Pepsi Joy of Cola” theme song rides the wave out.

“The Joy of Dance” was created by The Marketing Arm and directed by Samuel Bayer.
