Meek and his lawyer maintained that no such altercation happened and encouraged the hotel to produce video documentation to back up their claims. The hotel was unable to and released an apology on Friday (May 31).
“We apologize to Meek Mill for how we handled the situation on Saturday, May 25, as we did not act in a respectful manner and were wrong,” the statement read. “Meek Mill has not had any prior incident on our property.”
Fellow recording artists Swae Lee and Yo Gotti say they’ve faced the same type of discrimination at The Cosmo in the past as well.
