Kendrick Lamar Makes Jump

For the first time since To Pimp a Butterfly‘s surprise release, Kendrick Lamar’s major label debut Good Kid m.A.A.d City surpasses his sophomore project. The album jumped from #93 to #43 and saw 10,323 total units of activity, 4,991 albums sold, 29,120 song purchases and 3,630,392 streams. To Pimp a Butterfly is #45 and saw 9,982 units of total activity, 5,518 albums sold, 15,353 song purchases and 4,394,042 streams.
