Rick Ross has issued a response to his longtime nemesis 50 Cent after the G-Unit rapper took issue this week with Big Meech linking up with Ross.
In an Instagram post on Monday (February 3), 50 — who produces the hit TV series BMF about Meech’s Black Mafia Family criminal organization — implied that the recently-freed gangster had broken the street code.

The G-Unit boss posted a picture of a rat captioned with: “I think I’m Big Meech,” an apparent reference to Ross’ lyrics from “B.M.F. (Blowing Money Fast).”
Ross had recently met up with and taken a photo with Meech, which likely raised 50’s ire.

Elsewhere in 50 Cent’s initial post about Big Meech, he added: “The biggest mistake he ever made was not sustaining his relationship with ( Tammy Cowin ) her tell all Docu reveals the truth.”
Tammy Cowins is a credited producer on 50 Cent’s BMF series and spent years working as Meech’s assistant and business partner.

Neither Meech nor Cowins have commented on 50’s post.
Big Meech (real name Demetrius Flenory) was released from prison last October after being sentenced to 30 years behind bars in 2008.

He is currently being held in a halfway house, where he will remain until January 2026. He will then be on supervised release.
It has not been revealed why Meech was released from prison earlier than expected. He initially had his sentence trimmed thanks to Amendment 821 of the United States Criminal Code, emphasizing his rehabilitation behind bars which included him receiving his GED.
Despite 50 Cent’s sudden issues with the ex-drug lord, the two were all smiles after Meech was initially freed from prison.
Just weeks after Meech’s release, the pair posed for a photo that was shared on 50’s Instagram, accompanied by the caption: “GreenLight Gang [clapper board emoji] Ultimate Hustler edition [camera emoji] Camera speed, rolling and action. BMF BIG MEECH.”

As for the BMF show, which sees Meech portrayed by his son Demetrius Flenory Jr., the STARZ series was renewed for a fourth season last year — days before the third season even premiered.
A premiere date has yet to be announced, but it’s expected to be some time in spring 2025, if last season’s schedule is replicated by the network.
