The Weeknd doesn’t make hiphop music! I don’t know if he makes R&B or something different but stop definetely not hiphop.
This site reminds me to the typical white person that thinks that eveyr music made by black people is called hiphop
No doubt its a bunch of pussi emo college kids that think Drake is god and Wu Tang is played out. You have to have tight aqua green blue jeans and where a t shirt with guns n roses on it and talk about how Toronto is the mecca for hip hop lololol
It says “Hip-Hop Album Sales” then it mentions The Weekend and Drake? How is that hip-hop? This site is sooo fxin wack its unbelievable. Then when you open the page it says “Top r and b albums? Wtf???? Why post r and b albums with hip hop albums? Why not just list the top ten “hip hop” albums? You guys suck so bad no wonder everyone hates this site.
Only 5 of the albums listed are actual Hip-Hop this site is a damn joke for real!
asians say a indie rapper did 370 million records sold more den michael jackson nigga sold 10k and some streams ehh pitiful
The weekend collaborated with daft punk on the first Track of the album.he also rap-sings with kdot, on “sidewalks.” Of course it was going to sound a bit like pop then some electronic but then also hip hop occasionally.anyway its a treat sonically and he’s trying to do what mj did in a lot of ways so lets just stop putting the music into different boxes categorically and let’s enjoy it while we can, bitches
The Weeknd is a R&B artist/Pop star i know he sometimes raps but majority of his songs aren’t hip hop
im gonna kill the owners of hip hop dx, literally

The Weeknd is hiphop now? I haven’t heard his music but i was under the impression he was like a pop singer?
