YNW Melly‘s mother claims she suffered a heart attack due to the ongoing stress of her son’s capital murder trial, and noted that she’s deleting Instagram as a result.
Jamie King took to her Instagram Stories earlier this week to push back against trolls criticizing her rapper son, who has been accused of murdering his two friends, Christopher “YNW Juvy” Thomas Jr. and Anthony “YNW Sakchaser” Williams.

“I’m deleting this app I can’t be crying and making myself upset because of a lying clout chaser who won’t even show his face in court but care so much,” King wrote. “I had 1 heart attack already because of stress I refuse to let this kill me i try to be peaceful and respectful to all of you. I pray for everyone because I know it’s the right thing to do.”

It’s unclear when this reported heart attack transpired, but Jamie King has been accused of lying in the past by YNW Melly, who said on IG in a phone call from prison last April that his mom suffers from “anxiety issues.”
“Man, listen, everybody who entertaining that shit or whatever going on bruh that is not what it is bruh,” Melly said, addressing his mother’s claims that his manager 100K Track owed her money. “My momma be lying, my momma got anxiety issues. Her ass triggered bruh. You know what I’m saying? She feels some type of way because she feels like my brother is supposed to be bigger, or whatever bruh.”

He added: “Nobody bucking my brother on no money. If Track fucking my brother on money that mean I’m fucking my brother on money and I’d never do that to my little brother. My momma be tripping, complaining and lying. She been lying for a while now, bruh. That’s what’s been going on, you know what I’m saying? N-gga can’t take nothing from 100k.”
After nearly four long years, YNW Melly’s murder trial finally got underway last week and is expected to continue on Tuesday (June 20).
Local10.com previously reported that David Howard — one of the attorneys for the Florida native — moved for a mistrial in the case after Broward Circuit Judge John Murphy dismissed the testimony of Felicia Holmes, the mother of one of YNW Melly’s ex-girlfriends, who was declared a hostile witness for the prosecution.
Judge Murphy will render his decision about the mistrial on Tuesday (June 20).

Prior to the second day of the trial, YNW Melly asked his fans and supporters to pray for him in a since-deleted Instagram post. “Go watch and support me during trial [light green heart] send a prayer for me [praying hands emoji][Earth emoji] Day 2,” he wrote.
If convicted, the “Murder On My Mind” rapper could potentially face the death penalty.
