Lil Uzi Vert might be making a big change. After the Eternal Atake rapper changed his Twitter profile picture to a photo of Michael Jackson and then to a photo of Vybez Kartel on Wednesday (February 2), he followed up the odd switch with a tweet implying he might be changing his skin tone.

“Bleaching my skin need umbrella,” Uzi tweeted. He then shared a video to show the change was seemingly underway.

Fans were angered by Lil Uzi Vert’s bleaching, especially considering it’s the beginning of Black History Month. With that said, this isn’t the first time Uzi has said or done something eccentric. In 2021, the “20 Min” lyricist got a $24 million pink diamond implanted in his forehead, which many fans saw as idiotic since it wasn’t implanted directly in the middle.

Lil Uzi Vert responded to fans’ concerns. “It’s actually in the middle,” he said on his Instagram Stories. “It’s in the middle. I just got a long bar in it because I just got it pierced. When the swelling go down I’ll get a short bar so it won’t move. Y’all keep talking about it off because I got a long bar in it so it can move ’cause of the swelling. When it go down, it gonna be right though.”

However, the rapper soon had the diamond forcibly removed by fans last July during a stage dive at Rolling Loud.

“I had a show at Rolling Loud and I jumped in the crowd, and they kind of ripped it out,” Uzi told TMZ. ” I still got the diamond so I feel good.”
