Lil Uzi Vert’s new $24 million diamond has been the talk of Twitter since he debuted it on Wednesday (February 3). But the forehead implant could prove to be more trouble than it’s worth. In a since-deleted tweet, the platinum-selling rapper showed off a photo of the diamond with blood dripping from the bottom and admitted the dermal piercing could possibly kill him.

The caption read: “If I don’t get it took out the right way, I could die …. No seriously.” The photo sparked concern among his fans with one writing, “Bro, if this is not safe, you better take it off. I don’t want to see you dead.”

Lil Uzi quickly pacified his worried fans with a follow-up video, this time without the blood. He claimed in the caption, “OK we good” then later added, “I’m literally tryna turn into a Diamond.”

Unlike the nose, the lower forehead contains some blood vessels that cannot be touched while piercing.”

Shortly after he unveiled the exorbitant gem, fans pointed out it looked off-centered, which he denied in yet another Instagram video.
