Lil Uzi Vert was a trending Twitter topic on Wednesday (February 3) after he revealed his $24 million pink diamond forehead implant. But despite Sauce Walka’s claim he’s the inspiration behind the new face accessory, the Eternal Atake rapper has actually credited The Pack’s Lil B — the BasedGod.

Taking to Twitter, Lil Uzi shared a screenshot of Lil B from the “Tiny Pants Bitch” music video that features the Bay Area native rocking a jeweled bindi. Talking to HipHopDX, Lil B was thrilled to be behind the look and noted the feelings are mutual.

“That’s love,” Lil B told DX. “Uzi is a legend and one of the G.O.A.T.S in music, so all real musicians pay respects to other artist that have impacted the culture. He inspires me too currently as we speak.”

Lil Uzi was forced to defend his lavish purchase in one of his Instagram Stories after fans noticed it appeared off-centered.

“It’s actually in the middle,” he said. “It’s in the middle. I just got a long bar in it because I just got it pierced. When the swelling go down I’ll get a short bar so it won’t move. Y’all keep talking about it off because I got a long bar in it so it can move ’cause of the swelling. When it go down, it gonna be right though.”

As far as Sauce Walka goes, the Texas rapper went on a tirade earlier this week, claiming Lil Uzi was biting his style.

“Keep following The leader lol,” Sauce wrote on Instagram. “YALL LOOK AT @eliantte @liluzivert GETTIN TO COPY A NIGGA DRIP dick munching my style for 4-5 years lol yal still can’t see this shit DRIPGOD IS MY NAME TooMuchSauce lol S/o @liluzivert I KNO IM THE INFLUENCE TO YOUR INSPIRATION.”
