Conway The Machine is planning to release a deluxe version of From King to a Godafter dropping the original album three weeks ago (September 11). The Griselda rapper announced his intentions on Wednesday (September 30), while revealing his frustration about not being included in the Lyricist of the Year category at the 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards.

On Instagram, Conway posted a screenshot of Michael Jordan saying, “That was all I needed,” along with the caption, “Mood after seeing I was left off the lyricist of the year nominations.”

The meme from ESPN’s The Last Dance has been all over social media since the documentary aired in April/May, based around MJ saying the smallest of things would motivate him to step up a level during basketball games. Like Jordan, Conway is using what he feels is disrespect by working harder and coming back with even more energy on the music front.

“I been congregating in the wrong buildings, obviously,” Royce said. ”I’m ciphering with a big ass @bumpboxx outside the next @rocnation brunch with the doorway blocked.”
