French Montana has been quite close with Diddy over the last decade plus after signing to his Bad Boy imprint – but he has no comment on all of the allegations the mogul is facing.
Paparazzi caught up with French during a recent stop at LAX, where the Bronx-bred rapper was quite jovial as the convo began with talk of the Met Gala. After the camera man then asked his thoughts on Diddy’s situation, however, French immediately just walked away saying, “Come on, man.”
His security later followed up behind the camera man and requested, “Don’t put that last part,” only to realize it was all on live stream so there was nothing that could be done.

Last summer, French Montana was heavily criticized for bringing accused rapist Andrew Tate on stage during a performance at Beach, Please Festival in Romania.

Controversial internet personality Tate made an appearance midway through French’s set in the European country, where the influencer is awaiting trial on human trafficking charges.
French also announced that the two had recorded a podcast and told Tate, “Romania loves you, my brother” after he was greeted warmly by the crowd in attendance.
The Bronx rapper then dedicated a song to Tate, who later called on those watching the show to chant, “Escape the matrix” in an attempt set a new world record.
“First rapper to do a stream with top G and the first to bring Top G out on stage! ROMANIA WE LOVE YOU. S/O Andrew Tate + Tristan Tate,” French wrote on Instagram alongside footage of the moment.

Despite the crowd’s enthusiasm, the unlikely link-up didn’t sit well with fans online.
“That’s so embarrassing lol,” one disappointed fan commented on French’s post, while another said: “DISGUSTING [skull emojis] SUCH A LOW MOVE bringing him on stage.”
A third critic added: “I swear these rappers love to support the worst this world has to offer.”
