Travis Scott could be posed to make his wrestling debut alongside John Cena in the near future.

While Scott has been a semi-regular fixture on WWE programming in recent months and has gotten physical on a couple of occasions, he has yet to wrestle an actual match.

However, that could soon change according to PW Nexus to report that there has been a storyline pitch for “John Cena and Travis Scott to work a tag team match together at some point this year.”

The move was recently teased by Scott after his appearance at WrestleMania 41 where he helped Cena defeat WWE Undisputed Champion, Cody Rhodes.

Taking to Instagram with photos of his appearance, Travis captioned them, “I DONT WANT A RECEIPT I WANT BLOOOODDD AFTER JACKBOYS 2 I NEEEEEDDD THAT.”

At WrestleMania, Scott took something of a beating as Rhodes performed his finishing move, the Cross Rhodes on him, flattening the Hip Hop superstar.

Cody Rhodes had previously warned Travis Scott that he could expect a receipt after smacking him in the face at Elimination Chamber in February.

During the melee, La Flame landed a hard punch on Rhodes’ head as he lied face down on the floor, giving the 39-year-old a legitimate black eye and a ruptured ear drum.

Speaking to Complex weeks later, Rhodes expressed a desire to return the favor to the rap star.

“That’s wrestling. Beat me up, I’m gonna beat you up. I am not mad so much, but I am looking and my eyes are open for what we inevitably, what we’ll call a receipt,” he said. “If Travis Scott ever makes his way back into the WWE fray, maybe there’s a receipt for Travis.”

Rhodes added: “Prior to this, though, by the way, I was a Travis Scott fan! I bought those sneakers.”

The Rock previously discussed Travis Scott’s participation in the now-legendary Elimination Chamber match at a press conference after the event.

He said: “[Travis] wanted to get his hands bloody. I whispered to him as he was going out [to the ring]. I said, ‘If you’re gonna get your hands bloody, make it count.’ He slapped the shit of Cody tonight. He was really, really hyped up.”
