Travis Scott got laid out by Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 as payback for his previous attack on the wrestler in February.
During the main event of the show, Rhodes was taking on John Cena when La Flame came out towards the end of the match.

After walking slowly to the ring to his hit song “FE!N,” Scott and Cena looked to team up on Rhodes before the tables were turned.
Rhodes then hit his finishing move, the Cross Rhodes, on Scott, flattening the Hip Hop superstar.

Though Cody came out on top in that particular battle, Travis Scott won the war as he later stopped Rhodes from being crowned champion by pulling the referee out of the ring.
Cena then defeated Rhodes to become the new WWE Undisputed Champion and celebrated with Scott in the ring afterwards.

Cody Rhodes had previously warned Travis Scott that he could expect a receipt after smacking him in the face at Elimination Chamber in February.
During the melee, La Flame landed a hard punch on Rhodes’ head as he lied face down on the floor, giving the 39-year-old a legitimate black eye and a ruptured ear drum.

Speaking to Complex weeks later, Rhodes expressed a desire to return the favor to the rap star.
“That’s wrestling. Beat me up, I’m gonna beat you up. I am not mad so much, but I am looking and my eyes are open for what we inevitably, what we’ll call a receipt,” he said. “If Travis Scott ever makes his way back into the WWE fray, maybe there’s a receipt for Travis.”
Rhodes added: “Prior to this, though, by the way, I was a Travis Scott fan! I bought those sneakers.”
The Rock previously discussed Travis Scott’s participation in the now-legendary Elimination Chamber match at a press conference after the event.

He said: “[Travis] wanted to get his hands bloody. I whispered to him as he was going out [to the ring]. I said, ‘If you’re gonna get your hands bloody, make it count.’ He slapped the shit of Cody tonight. He was really, really hyped up.”
The wrestler and actor added: “He loves the business. We get guys and girls like that who want to come in and who are already tapping in culture and disrupting culture in their own cool way.

“Maybe they want to sit and enjoy, maybe they want to be on camera. But then some want to get involved and then some, like Travis, deeply want to get involved. And that’s what you saw tonight.”
