Travis Scott has been called out by WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes after smacking the wrestler in the face.

The altercation happened in February at WWE’s Elimination Chamber match when Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, John Cena and La Flame ganged up on Rhodes and beat him bloody.

During the melee, Scott landed a hard punch on Rhodes’ head as he lied face down on the floor, giving the 39-year-old a black eye and a ruptured ear drum.

Now, speaking to Complex, Rhodes expressed a desire to return the favor to the rap star.

“That’s wrestling. Beat me up, I’m gonna beat you up. I am not mad so much, but I am looking and my eyes are open for what we inevitably, what we’ll call a receipt,” he said. “If Travis Scott ever makes his way back into the WWE fray, maybe there’s a receipt for Travis.”

Rhodes added: “Prior to this, though, by the way, I was a Travis Scott fan! I bought those sneakers.”

The Rock previously discussed Travis Scott’s participation in the now-legendary Elimination Chamber match at a press conference after the event.

He said: “[Travis] wanted to get his hands bloody. I whispered to him as he was going out [to the ring]. I said, ‘If you’re gonna get your hands bloody, make it count.’ He slapped the shit of Cody tonight. He was really, really hyped up.”

The wrestler and actor added: “He loves the business. We get guys and girls like that who want to come in and who are already tapping in culture and disrupting culture in their own cool way.

“Maybe they want to sit and enjoy, maybe they want to be on camera. But then some want to get involved and then some, like Travis, deeply want to get involved. And that’s what you saw tonight.”

Johnson then teased that the Utopia rapper, who has previously collaborated with the WWE, would soon have an actual match himself: “Yes, that’s why we’re doing it. I love Travis. That’s my guy.”

He also said: “We have this opportunity to create this big moment in pro wrestling that is arguably one of the biggest — maybe the biggest, some fans’ words, not mine — and we also had an opportunity to bring Travis Scott in too and start to form a union, an alliance with The Final Boss and Travis Scott.”
