Chance The Rapper fired off some concerning tweets on Monday morning (August 5) that caught the attention of his fans.

“I’m getting this crazy feeling that people want me to kill myself,” he tweeted. “That’s not my vibe at all, but i feel the push. And I feel like even more than that, some people want me to feel ashamed.”

From there, Lil Chano admitted he was feeling shame for something he was once “super prideful” about and said music is the “number one” thing that influences him on a daily basis. He added that he loves his new wife Kirsten Corley.

After receiving thousands of responses to his posts, Chance ultimately assured his fans he wasn’t contemplating suicide or anything remotely close.

“I just want to reiterate that I don’t want to kill myself, nor am I ashamed of loving my wife,” he concluded. “I think I just wanted to say out loud that I see the vibes.”

Chance ended his Twitter spree on a positive note by sharing video of his recent nuptials.
