DJ Akademiks claims he spoke to Drake and got some clarification about the lack of a response to Pusha T’s “The Story Of Adidon.” In the alleged conversation, Drizzy told the online personality that Scorpion will answer the looming questions about why his battle with Pusha has come to an end.

According to Akademiks, Drake said he “loves competition” and “ain’t running from shit.” But, the OVO Star supposedly said fans don’t understand that the situation was getting out of hand before J. Prince got involved.

“For you as an outsider to this situation, you won’t get it and fans won’t get it,” Akademiks recalls Drake saying. “At times, shit goes beyond just music. He says that if this continued and it kept on being escalated … he says it would go to a point of no return, and it was taking him to a very dark place.”

Drake’s Scorpion album will apparently provide all the answers, even though it won’t be featuring a diss track aimed at King Push.

“June 29, there is music there, there are answers on his album to make us understand,” Akademiks said. “He said, ‘You will understand when my project comes out.'”

Ahead of Scorpion’s release, Drake dropped a video for his single “I’m Upset” featuring his fellow Degrassi cast members.
