The world of Hip Hop was well represented during Tuesday night’s (September 12) fundraising telethon, “Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief.”

The one-hour broadcast – organized by Bun B and Scooter Braun – saw stars from all walks of entertainment come together to help raise money for the victims of Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma, whose extreme weather has wreaked havoc through large parts of Texas, Florida and the Caribbean over the past two weeks.

The live show – which was broadcast simultaneously by more than a dozen networks including ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC – featured appearances and special messages of support from a variety of Hip Hop stars, while Usher teamed up with Blake Shelton for a moving performance of Ben E. King’s soul classic, “Stand By Me.”

Beyoncé, Drake and Will Smith all sent pre-recorded messages of support, while Jamie Foxx, Justin Timberlake and Sean “Diddy” Combs all appeared live in the studio to encourage viewers across the nation to donate whatever they could.
