Kodak Black’s latest prison stint came to an end on Monday (June 5) when he was released from Broward County Jail. The 19-year-old rapper quickly embraced his freedom by connecting with his followers on Instagram for a livestream with a noticeably new haircut.
Kodak got reflective too, sharing a message about his situation on Twitter and Instagram.
“We Buy Our Way Outta Jail But We Can’t Buy Freedom #Israel,” he wrote.
He also posted a video of himself vibing out to Lauryn Hill’s “Ex-Factor” in the backseat of a Rolls Royce.

The most exciting activity of Kodak’s first day out came when he previewed new music for fans. The Painting Pictures rapper spit bars over a smooth beat and hinted at the impending release of a music video.
Although Kodak is out of jail, he won’t be free to do as he pleases. The Atlantic Records artist is on house arrest for the next year. He must also seek permission from the court and his probation officer to travel for any work-related endeavors, including touring.
