The Alchemist has long been one of the most sought-after producers in Hip Hop, but there are still some names on his bucket list.

During a Q&A with fans on X on Monday (March 10), the storied beatmaker revealed who is at the top of his list of artists that he wants to work with but has yet to.

Asked by one user: “Who’s an artist you haven’t worked with yet that you want to work with,” Alchemist simply replied: “Pluto.”

While Future has yet to respond, Uncle Al did receive one collaboration request from a somewhat unlikely name after his revelation.

In a post on his own page, Meek Mill wrote:”I need to work with alchemist!!!!!”

While it remains to be seen whether either collaboration will materialize, The Alchemist recently confirmed that he and Havoc were working on a new Mobb Deep album, the first since the death of Prodigy in 2017.

Speaking on The Breakfast Club, he said: “They did so much work, it was insane. You could just peel back layers in Prodigy’s rhymes. He was ahead of his time.

“Their discography is unmatched. P’s legend lives. He did more than the average person while he was here, and he even left behind a lot of stuff so we’re lucky enough to be working on a new Mobb Deep project.”

The producer continued: “It’s me and Hav are doing the beats. Nas is involved. It feels great just to hear his voice again. We missed it. It’s a void not hearing his voice anymore.”

The Alchemist has already had a fast start to 2025, dropping a joint album with Larry June and 2 Chainz called Life is Beautiful last month.

He also recently premiered a new project with Yasiin Bey (formerly Mos Def) as part of their new duo The Forensics, which is set to receive a wider release later this year, and was spotted cooking up in the studio with fellow Soulquarian Erykah Badu.
