“Jay rock wanted y’all to know he’s feeling better and on the road to recovery.. He shud be out of here in a few days.. #TDE#jayrock,” Top Dawg wrote today (February 20).
The Watts, California rapper underwent surgery Monday (February 16) after a Sunday (February 15) motorcycle accident left him with several broken bones.

Jay Rock underwent surgery today (February 16) after a motorcycle accident that left him with several broken bones yesterday (February 15).
TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith shared the news on Twitter and Instagram that the surgery was successful.
“My guy @JayRock just got out of surgery and he’s doing fine…” Top Dawg writes on Twitter. “Thanks 4 all the prayers.. Ppl please stop showing up at the hospital #TDE”

TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith broke the shocking news that his artist had been severely injured shortly before the winner for Album of the Year was announced.
“Pray 4 @jayrock he had a bad accident on his motorcycle.. He’s hurt pretty bad… #TDE,” he tweeted. After speculation ran rampant regarding the rap star’s condition, Tiffith released another accident that lessened the worry–to an extent.
“[Jay Rock] is not in a coma or near death…a lot of broken bones…,” he continued.
