Long Island veteran PMD has announced a slew of new projects for 2013, including a side-project with the Snowgoons.
According to a recent press release, Parrish Making Dollars, one half of the iconic EPMD, has linked up with fellow Queens representative Sean Strange and German production team the Snowgoons for a new side project called the Goondox. The crew is slated to release its debut album Welcome to the Goondox this April 9th.
Welcome to the Goondox boasts features from a host of emcees, including Jus Allah, Smoothe Da Hustler, Swollen Members, Esoteric, Reef the Lost Cauze and more.
Goondox isn’t the only project PMD has slated for release in 2013, however. The veteran emcee will also release his fifth solo album Handle Your Business on May 5th, as well as a DVD documenting the Hit Squad‘s 2012 tour. The crew will also join forces on the DJ Rondevu-hosted 2 Turntables & A Microphone mixtape, featuring PMD, Redman, K-Solo, Das EFX, Keith Murray, DJ Scratch, Tom J from the Knucklehedz, Sean Strange, Method Man and more. The tape releases on February 27th. PMD will also embark on a solo tour March 29th in Milan, Italy, and will set of the U.S. leg in New York City, New York on April 8th.

“It’s just good to be independent at a time where Hip Hop needs to be educated. We switched to being forced on our growth to being creative again,” PMD said in a statement.
Last year, Parrish’s longtime music partner Erick Sermon released a solo mixtape of his own, Breath of Fresh Air.
