SZA has announced that there are still more songs to add to her SOS deluxe album, Lana — and they’ll arrive during a milestone moment for the singer.

SZA’s manager and label president Terrence “Punch” Henderson announced the surprise news on X, writing: “Additional deluxe joints coming Sunday. LANA.”

It means the release will coincide with SZA’s guest appearance during Kendrick Lamar‘s Super Bowl halftime show on February 9.

Reports on social media suggest that the bonus tracks will drop on streaming platforms at 7 p.m. ET, shortly after the big game kicks off.

SZA has had a troubled relationship with her fans during the prolonged rollout of Lana, which eventually arrived in December but in a somewhat unfinished state.

The TDE singer previously announced that the project would be updated, despite being released just before the new year — leading some fans to grow discontented by the process, which has featured numerous teases and delays.

SZA took to social media last month to hit out at her fans, writing: “I used to think sharing snippets, personal info + music tea would build connection but it actually just made ppl entitled ungrateful and disrespectful. It’s time to restore the boundary.”

She added: “No more explanations / updates. No back n forth. All further questions hit punch. Thanks.”

The “Kill Bill” hitmaker then attacked one fan who criticized her remarks, replying: “It’s almost like you didn’t read punch clearly announce we were waiting on sample clearance. Almost like wildfires broke out where everyone who worked on this album lives .. almost like you don’t give a fuck, and lack common sense. Almost like u were raised by animals.”

It was thought that SZA and Punch had parted ways in December after more than a decade together. However, the executive’s social media bio still says he manages the singer and with the latest updates coming from him, it appears they still have a working relationship.

Over Christmas, SZA wrote on social media: “Nothing to celebrate. The end of an era. I wish him the best whatever his choices may be.”

Punch has yet to comment on the rumored split, which would have seen the end of one of te longest artist-manager relationships in Hip Hop and R&B.
