Kanye West is lashing out in yet another series of inflammatory rants this week because he’s jealous of all the praise Kendrick Lamar is receiving – so says Charlamagne Tha God.

In a burst of posts to X late Thursday (February 6), which began with him calling for Diddy to be freed from jail, the controversial rapper made a number of hateful comments about the Jewish community.

The rant then grew increasingly inflammatory as he declared that he is “racist” and a “Nazi” who “loves Hitler,” while dismissing the very notion of antisemitism.

While discussing the rants on The Breakfast Club on Friday morning (February 7), Charlamagne offered up his thoughts on Ye’s motives.

“We do realize Kanye has been acting out all week because he’s envious of Kendrick’s moment, right?” he said, referring to K. Dot’s sweep at the Grammys last Sunday (February 2) and his preparation for his Super Bowl Halftime performance this Sunday (February 9). “He’s [attention seeking] because he wishes this was his moment. He wishes this was him because Kendrick is having a moment for being a prolific artist who took out his number one opp, Drake.

“Kanye wishes that was him in this moment so he’s been doing all these antics for attention all week because he’s trying to get people to do exactly what they are doing now and that’s talking about him. But Kanye, that is a sideshow compared to what Kendrick did on Sunday at the Grammys and what Kendrick is gonna do this Sunday at the Super Bowl.”

He continued: “All these antics are cheap. Meanwhile, you got people on that stage being rewarded for their art – the way that you used to, Kanye. Kendrick Lamar got rewarded five times for a diss record to your number one opp. You wish that was you!”

The chart-topping diss track, aimed at Kendrick and Kanye’s mutual enemy Drake, won five awards on Sunday night (February 2), the most ever for a rap song.

As well as winning the approval of the Recording Academy’s voting committee, Kendrick also received some public props from his “No More Parties In L.A.” collaborator Kanye after his historic night.

In a since-deleted post on Instagram, Ye posted a picture of the GNX MC on the red carpet posing with all of his Grammys, captioning it: “Gemini season” along with a goat emoji.

Kanye appeared to be in a magnanimous mood as he also thanked the Grammys, with whom he’s had issues in the past, for nominating his own Billboard Hot 100 hit “Carnival” for Best Rap Song.

The Chicago native went home empty-handed after “Carnival” lost to “Not Like Us,” but he still made headlines thanks to his wife Bianca Censori’s provocative outfit choice.
