Eminem has received his very own Spider-Man comic book cover as the 20th anniversary celebrations for 8 Mile continue.
On Monday (November 21), the Detroit rap icon took to Instagram to give fans a first look at the limited edition variant cover, which shows his B-Rabbit character from the 2002 movie battling Spider-Man onstage. A number of familiar faces from the Marvel Universe watch on in the crowd, including Miles Morales, Daredevil, Luke Cage and Ghost-Spider.

The cover was created by Salvador Larroca, who’s primarily known for his work with various X-Men titles, in collaboration with the sports and entertainment agency hustl. who specialize in developing one-of-a-kind collectibles.
“I’ve always been a huge Spider-Man fan since I was a kid,” Eminem said. “He’s definitely in my top 5… So being on a cover battling Spider-Man is such a thrill and an honor.”

He added on Instagram: “‘Like Spider-Man crawlin’ upside of a wall’ HONORED to be on the official variant of The Amazing Spider-Man (2022).”
Eminem’s Spider-Man comic is available to purchase on the rapper’s online store from Tuesday (November 22).
This isn’t the first time hustl. has collaborated with a rapper for a limited-edition comic book cover. Earlier this month, the agency celebrated the late Notorious B.I.G.’s 50th birthday with a rare Deadpool variant cover created by artist Ken Lashley.
B.I.G.’s first appearance on a Marvel cover found the fallen Brooklyn legend sitting on a throne in Times Square, with Deadpool looking back at him over his shoulder. The cover also incorporated a carpet reminiscent of the Coogi sweater design, a boombox, and photos of Biggie and Deadpool replicated on the Times Square screens.
“Biggie and Hip Hop turned 50 this year, so we at hustl. were absolutely thrilled to work with his team and Marvel to create this variant as our way of paying tribute to one of the greatest and influential hip hop icons of all time,” hustl. COO Keri Harris shared in a statement. “Next month, we will follow this up with another all-time great, which we cannot wait to share with pop culture fans.”
Hip Hop has graced Marvel’s covers for some time now, such as Birdman appearing on a limited edition cover of The Amazing Spider-Man issue No. 11 and Eminem covering a Mighty Avengers variant cover before that.
In 2015, Marvel launched a series of images that found various characters recreating iconic Hip Hop album covers. The company revisited the concept the following year with over 80 reimagined covers, including a Deadpool rendition of Wale’s Attention Deficit; a Miles Morales remake of Nas’ Illmatic and a Spider-Man version of Life Is Good; and Riri Williams taking on Missy Elliott’s Under Construction.
