Houston, TX

Beyoncé suffered a scary moment during her hometown show in Houston as a stunt went wrong.

As part of the show, the pop icon was seated in a vintage Cadillac high above the crowd which was held in place by cables.

However, the car began tilting to one side with Bey seen holding on to a flag pole for support.

She could also be heard shouting: “Stop! Stop, stop, stop stop.”

Bey then said later in the show: “If ever I fall, I know y’all will catch me.”

The car was eventually lowered to the ground without incident.

Beyoncé’s company, Parkwood Entertainment, issued a statement saying that there was a “technical mishap”.

They added: “She was quickly lowered and no one was injured. The show continued without incident.”

An earlier show in the tour in Paris saw Bey joined by husband, JAY-Z.

The couple have not performed live together since 2018 and while Jay does not fit in with the country aesthetic of the show, Bey concluded her three night run in the French capital by bringing out her husband.

The couple performed classic 2003 duet “Crazy in Love” before giving fans a rendition of “Drunk in Love” that was combined with “Partition”.

Jay then gave a rendition of “N-ggas in Paris” sans Kanye West before heading back off stage.

On Instagram, Queen B posted a number of pictures of herself in a blackbird themed outfit that she wears during her tour.

She also wrote in the caption: “Thank you, Sir Paul McCartney, for writing one of the best songs ever made. Every time I sing it I feel so honored. And it is a full circle moment to wear your beautiful daughter’s design.

“Thank you, London, for creating unforgettable memories for me and my family. Holla at ‘ya when I come on tour again!”

Beyoncé only has seven dates left on her Cowboy Carter tour with the run of shows set to conclude on July 26 in Las Vegas.
