“Me telling @feliciathegoat He’s officially one of the Greatest, in my humble opinion,” the Detroit native captioned the post.

While the two wordsmiths have never worked together, they do have a bit of history.

Shortly after the release of the 2014 release of Eminem and Shady Records’ compilation album Shady XV, Tyler The Creator took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the effort, calling it “fucking ASS.”

During a subsequent interview with VLAD TV, Royce Da 5’9″ offered his thoughts on Tyler The Creator’s remarks about his Bad Meets Evil partner.

“I don’t really have much of a take on it,” Royce Da 5’9″ said. “What can you say? He said his opinion. It’s the kid’s opinion and what am I gonna do? Get mad at him? We’re living in that era now, man. That’s like I go over to a girl house that I’m trying to smash and her little kid [or] little baby brother is in there and he’s like, ‘You smell like marijuana!’ And everybody laugh because it’s the little kid and he’s saying something crazy. And everybody cares because it’s the little kid with the voice. That’s kind of how it is, man. I don’t care, man. What am I gon’ do about that?

Royce Da 5’9″ later recalled his last meeting with the Ladera Heights, California rapper and subsequently stated that he wasn’t offended by what Tyler had to say.

“The last time I seen Tyler The Creator, those guys were running around the dressing room with fucking capes and shit on,” Nickle said. “It just felt like we were in the room with some fun kids. And that’s really how I look at them. I’m not about to start getting offended by everything he said or anything like that. If the kid got his opinion, he got his opinion. It’s just what it is.”

The two artists’ most recent encounter took place at DJ Drama‘s private listening event for his forthcoming album I’m Really LikeThat, which was held in Los Angeles on Saturday (February 4) to coincide with the 65th Annual Grammy Awards.

In November, Drama shed some light on his new album, giving fans a glimpse at some of the big names set to appear on the project.
