Akademiks was understandably elated after his new Akademiks Podcast debuted at No. 2 on Spotify, just one spot behind The Joe Rogan Experience. The pilot episode featured an explosive conversation between The Game and Blueface’s manager Wack 100 and 6ix9ine, one of the most hated rappers out there.

Now with a taste of success apart from Everyday Struggle, the outspoken media personality is setting his sights on Charlamagne Tha God and the Black Effect Podcast Network with iHeartMedia who publishes the WHOREible Decisions podcast.

On Monday (August 9), Akademiks took his grievances to Twitch, where he went on an extended rant for roughly 30 minutes about WHOREible Decisions podcast host WeezyWTF.

Akademiks is apparently upset she’s been criticizing him online for having 6ix9ine and Wack 100 on his show. Or as Ak claims, she said he needed “two snitches” to get clicks.

“Charlamagne, I’m in the podcast game now,” he begins. They got me No. 2 … I understand shorty’s on your network, but you don’t gotta lie to the people. If she’s getting 10,000 views on YouTube, she’s not getting half a million on Spotify. That’s a fact ’cause I see the numbers.

“If I’m No. 2 behind Rogan and I see my numbers and I see the YouTube numbers and YouTube numbers is way more than that, there’s no way that you got a chick — they’re talking about sex — there’s no way she’s doing way more views on audio than the video.”

As Akademiks continued, he grew increasingly heated and made a demand from Charlamagne Tha God.

“Tell shorty, leave my fucking name off of her fuckin’ social media ’cause I have time to go at her and every fucking body else,” he said. “When I came to this Spotify shit, I said if any n-gga — I don’t care who it is — if y’all got me in y’all mouth and you say nothing about me, a violation will occur, just because I don’t need none of y’all n-ggas. Y’all n-ggas never helped me with shit.

“When your little failed ass podcast — I don’t care is she on black effect, white effect, the failed effect, fuck an effect! — tell her Akademiks is probably not the n-gga you wanna talk about because you’re not linked. And I hope she understands that.”

Charlamagne Tha God Is Taking Back Hip Hop Culture With The Black Effect Podcast Network

Ultimately, he just wants Charlamagne to “stop lying” about the WHOREible Decisions podcast’s numbers.

Charlamagne Tha God inked a partnership with iHeartMedia in September 2020 to launch the Black Effect Podcast Network, anchored by his own syndicated radio show The Breakfast Club. Curated by Charlamagne, the network offers roughly 18 different shows. Toward the end of the clip, he does give credit to Charlamagne for paving the way for people like him to flourish.
