The internet is an invariable land mine when it comes to pop culture — everyone has an opinion and not necessarily positive ones. In fact, it’s typically more common for people to trash a celebrity than it is to uplift them.

As DJ Khaled learned following his performance at the “Social Gloves: Battle of the Platforms” fight at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday (June 12), Twitter is unforgiving.

Case in point, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie recently underwent a dental procedure to shine up his pearly whites. At the same time, he repaired a chip in his tooth that had presumably been bothering him.

Comments such as “A Boogie’s teeth just piss me off” and “Yo somebody said A Boogie new teeth look like white kitchen floor tiles” started to pour in on Sunday morning (June 13) until he was a trending Twitter topic.

The reception for A Boogie’s teeth are in stark contrast to the reaction Bone Thugs-n-Harmony’s Layzie Bone got when he revealed his new grill. In a since-deleted Instagram post, Layzie Bone showed the before and after. As he sat in the dentist’s chair, he was handed a mirror to inspect the dentist’s work.

Clearly moved by what he saw, Layzie broke into a big smile as the dental team cheered in the background. He wrote in the caption, “I went from this smile and having a ton of insecurities which none of you onlookers would have never knew about me.
