50 Cent isn’t allowing any LeBron James slander slide — no matter who the source is.

During a recent appearance on Posted Up with host Chris HaynesNBA legend Julius Irving (also known as the great Dr. J.) named his top two all-time NBA teams and created a fantasy team in the process. On his first team, Dr. J named Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell and Elgin Baylor as his starters. For his second, he listed Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Karl Malone and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

But NBA superstar LeBron James was noticeably absent from the list.

According to Irving, he had a perfectly good reason for leaving him out, explaining, “He’s the guy who has led the charge in terms of super teams. When he put together a team in Miami, he put together a team in Cleveland as well, and he put together a team in Los Angeles. So, he can pick his own team. I ain’t going to pick his team.”

Despite Irving’s explanation, 50 Cent decided it wasn’t good enough and proceeded to clown the 71-year-old retired baller anyway. On Tuesday (April 27), the Power mogul shared a post about Irving’s comments and wrote in the caption, “sounds like old hater shit to me!” He added in the comment section, “It takes a lot of work and talent to be @kingjames if that wasn’t true we would have 3 or 4 of him, we only got 1.”
