New York, NY – 2 Chainz’s Rap Or Go To League album has a very fitting A&R considering its title. Def Jam Recordings and the veteran MC have announced NBA superstar LeBron James will serve as the LP’s A&R.

Fans won’t be waiting much longer to hear the LeBron-backed project either. Def Jam and 2 Chainz have confirmed the album is scheduled to drop on March 1.

“It’s been quite the journey to get here,” the artist formerly known as Tity Boi wrote on Twitter. “All night studio sessions, reflecting, & opening up on these records or as I call it therapy! This is my each one teach one body of work, I wanna celebrate black excellence! ….. ‘Rap Or Go To The League’ the album A&R by @KingJames 3/1.”

Rap Or Go To The League will be 2 Chainz’s first studio album since 2017’s Pretty Girls Like Trap Music. Def Jam’s press release bills the LP as “easily his most personal, most lyrical, most soulful to date.”

2 Chainz’s upcoming project will feature his Drake and Quavo-assisted single “Bigger Than You,” which dropped last summer. The song’s video has racked up over 36 million views on YouTube as of Wednesday (February 19).
