Diddy‘s “Making the Band 3” divas seem to be on the verge of a break up. The girls have no upcoming shows scheduled, and the DK Myspace page hasn’t been updated with news about the group since early April. But the real controversy began on Wednesday, when TMZ.com stopped group member Aubrey O’Day leaving Hollywood club Teddy’s and asked her, point-blank, “What’s up with Danity Kane’s next album?”
O’Day tactfully avoided a direct answer. The reporter then asked if she “had something to say about Puffy,”O’Day snapped back, “I have absolutely nothing to say about Puffy. I haven’t even looked at him longer than 10 minutes!” (an obvious reference to Diddy‘s denial to NY’s Hot 97 that O’day was pregnant with his child earlier this year. His exact response during the interview was “I never even looked at her for more than 10 minutes.”)
O’Day was then asked about rumors that she was joining the Pussycat Dolls, to which she replied “You’re giving up secrets right now. You’re not supposed to know about that.”
DK‘s label, Atlantic Records, would only offer a “no comment” when asked if the group was through.
