Jim Jones has announced that he has pushed back the release of his Cam’ron diss track, allegedly at the request of his record label.

In a post on Instagram on Tuesday (January 21), the Dipset rapper wrote alongside the song’s artwork: “‘JOMO (Jump Off My AYOO)’ new single drops Jan 31st. My lable told my I’m trippin slow down a bit my bad.”

He then teased a separate song featuring fellow Harlem heavy-hitters Juelz Santana, Vado, Dave East and others, and promised that he would also announce the release date for his new album At the Church Steps later this week.

“But we DROPPIN th REMIX this week ‘Tht Sh!t Still in HARLEM’ [featuring] @thejuelzsantana @vado_mh @daveeast @2gs_likegucci93 @suzi,” he wrote, referencing his take on Laila!’s viral hit “Not My Problem” (which has also been sampled by Cash Cobain).

Jim Jones previously said that “JOMO,” which is produced by Statik Selektah, would arrive this past Monday (January 20) following numerous teasers.

The track appears to be a response to Cam’ron’s epic rant about him on his sports talk show It Is What It Is earlier this month.

It finds him hitting back at Cam’s claim that he and Ma$e taught him how to rap as he spits: “So what more you want to ask him? / You n-ggas taught me how to rap, and now I’m platinum.”

Cam’ron also called out Capo for many of his friends and associates being sent to jail in the Nine Trey Gangsters case.

“Stop tricking n-ggas out they freedom,” he said in his rant. “You send them on dummy missions and trick them out they freedom… Shotti [Kifano ‘Shotti’ Jordan, 6ix9ine’s former manager who was sentenced to 15 years in prison], he was trying to be a [manager], 12 years [in prison].

“And I know you love Mel [Jamel ‘Mel Murda’/’Mel Matrix’ Jones, who was sentenced to 135 months]. I love Mel Matrix, that’s my brother… You said when he come home, he gonna be the triple O.G. Get that man a job, my n-gga.”

Jones responded in a snippet of “JOMO” by rapping: “All my n-ggas do they time, you know my team body / It’s been seven years since I’ve seen Shotti / It’s been seven years since I saw Melly / And now he gotta fly straight ’cause he got four fellies.”

Cam and Jones have not seen eye to eye for years and have rejected recent attempts from the likes of Ma$e and Wallo to mend fences.
