Lizzo accused a Postmates delivery driver of stealing her food last week. In a since-deleted tweet, she shared the driver’s name and photo, writing, “Hey @Postmates this girl Tiffany W. stole my food she lucky I don’t fight no more.”
Now, that driver is reportedly living in fear. According to TMZ, she’s afraid to leave her home or go to work and thinks someone might try to harm her.
Lizzo’s seafood order was expected to be delivered to a Boston hotel but no room number was listed. She attempted to call the number linked to the account and no one answered. The driver even asked hotel concierge to assist and was unable to reach Lizzo after waiting 10 minutes. Postmates only requires a driver to wait for five.
When she didn’t get her food, Lizzo told her nearly one million Twitter followers about the incident and her fans promptly came to her assistance.

A Postmates spokesperson explained, “As soon as Lizzo reached out, we looked into the matter and quickly resolved the issue. We apologize to Lizzo for any inconvenience.”
The “Truth Hurts” singer ultimately issued an apology.
“I apologize for putting that girl on blast,” she tweeted on September 17. “I understand I have a large following and that there were so many variables that could’ve put her in danger. Imma really be more responsible with my use of social media and check my petty and my pride at the door.”
