New York, NY – The Met Gala 2018 once again pushed the boundaries of fashion with this year’s theme, “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.”
Rihanna, Amal Clooney, Donatella Versace, Anna Wintour and Stephen and Christine Schwarzman all combined forces for hosting duties and the event rolled out its red carpet to several Hip Hop stars such as 2 Chainz (who proposed to his longtime girlfriend), Childish Gambino a.k.a. Donald Glover, Migos, Cardi B and Nicki Minaj, who finally announced her new album’s name and release date.
For 60 years, New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art — the largest art museum in the United States — has been the center of Met Gala’s festivities, which is annually held on the first Monday of each May.
