Eminem announced via Instagram that the release of the Jordan-Carhartt shoe collaboration has been delayed.

“Due to higher than anticipated demand for the 10 pairs that will be made available to the public, the charity auction will be postponed a few days to ensure we can provide the best customer experience possible,” Slim Shady writes under an image of the back of the shoes.

Ten pairs of the black and white kicks were scheduled to go to auction Tuesday (November 10). Proceeds will benefit the Marshall Mathers Foundation.

Eminem announced on Twitter today (November 3) that he is partnering with Jordan and Carhartt to release limited edition shoes honoring Shady Records.

“The inclusion of classic workwear brand Carhartt, and their recognizable rough and rugged material, gives this collaboration an aggressive look and feel that compliments Eminem’s signature style,” the product description says.

The shoe is an Air Jordan IV and features Carhartt canvas with Eminem and Shady Records graphics such as a backwards “E,” a hockey mask and the Shady XV logo. This is the Detroit rapper’s third collaboration with Jordan.
