A judge yesterday (July 7) denied Suge Knight’s request to drop murder charges the former Death Row Records owner is facing regarding a fatal hit-and-run incident, Billboard reports.
In January, Knight allegedly ran over Cle “Bone” Sloan and Terry Carter with his pickup truck, injuring Sloan and killing Carter.
Sloan originally named Knight as the suspect in the hit-and-run. He then refused to identify the Death Row CEO for the crime at the preliminary hearing.
Suge Knight’s lawyer requested to have the murder charges dropped because of Sloan’s changing testimony.
