Suge Knight has been charged with murder and attempted murder after being arrested Friday (January 30) on murder charges regarding his alleged involvement in a deadly hit-and-run outside of Tam’s Burgers near the 1200 block of West Rosecrans Avenue in Los Angeles, according to abc7.com.

Knight reportedly struck three men with his vehicle. He allegedly injured two of them and killed a third, Terry Carter.

Knight is being held at Men’s Centrail Jail, according to the report. He is slated to appear tomorrow (February 3) at Los Angeles County Superior Court.

The former Death Row Records owner has been charged with one count of murder, one count of attempted murder and two counts of hit-and-run with an allegation that he committed a serious and violent felony while out on bail in another pending case, the abc7 report says.

If convicted on these charges, he faces up to life in state prison, the story says.

Suge Knight’s bail was revoked earlier today (February 2).

Knight’s bail was removed because he is a “possible flight risk, three-strike candidate, possible witness intimidation issues and his criminal past,” Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Nicole Nishida said to the Los Angeles Times.

UPDATE: The manager of one of the men hit by Suge Knight’s vehicle has stepped forward to say that his client, Cle “Bone” Sloan, did not have a gun in his possession on the day of the incident.

According to TMZ, Bone’s manager claims Bone did not threaten Suge’s life and that Suge could have easily exited the Tam’s Burgers parking lot without running over his client and killing Terry Carter.

Video footage of the incident was released yesterday and it appears that Bone seems to grab an unidentified black object from the scene and pass it to another person.

Bone’s manager is claiming that the object Bone handed off was a walkie-talkie.
