It wasn’t a happy Halloween for one of St. Louis’s own. Murphy Lee was arrested on on October 31st for allegedly driving under the influence of drugs and drug possession. Lee was originally pulled over by police for a expired license plate on his Mercedes. Once police pulled him over they allegedly smelled marijuana and searched the vehicle and found less that 35 grams of marijuana. Murphy Lee is expected to go to court next month to enter a plea.

Although it was a big hit for Lil Flip, “Game Over” looks like it isn’t the only thing that’s gonna keep him in court. Tommy Granville is now suing Lil Flip for $1.5 million dollars alleging he used three of his melodies without permission on for his album “Undaground Legend”. Earlier this year NamCo America(who owns the Pac-Man franchise) sued Lil Flip for $10 million dollars for the sampling use of “Pac-Man” for his hit song “Game Over”.
