“I saw a video of Drake walking through his house and showing he had a library of rhyme books. Man I wish I could have seen and remembered this when my jealousy overtook me,” he wrote.
“I love Drake,” West added. “I’ma say this when I die I need you to speak at [my] funeral.”
The increasingly controversial rap legend has spent much of the last year throwing shots at Drake but has switched stances of late, showing love to his new album with PARTYNEXTDOOR, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U.
“‘Gimme a Hug’ is incredible. Sheeeeesh,” he wrote on social media last month, while also retweeting a post from Chart Data reporting that the track had shot to the top of Apple Music’s U.S. chart.

Kanye also recently weighed in on Drake’s feud with Kendrick Lamar and admitted slight disappointment that the Compton native had downed his “nemesis.”
“I was like, ‘Man, you killed my nemesis. Where’s the movies if it ain’t no Drake?’” he said in an interview with Justin LaBoy. “Or at least he took him down for a little bit. Maybe it’s like in superhero films where characters like Wolverine or something just goes away for a couple films.”
Yeezy went on to back Drizzy to make a comeback after his bruising defeat to Kendrick: “You can’t ever count out Steph Curry. That man might get 200 points in one song.”.
These comments were in stark contrast to his previous interview with LaBoy last year, in which he accused the Canadian superstar of inflating his record-breaking streams and claimed that his “raps don’t mean shit.”

Kanye also took aim at Drake on his remix of Future, Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That,” spitting: “Where’s Lucian? Serve your master, n-gga / You caught a little bag for your masters, didn’t ya? / Lifetime deal, I feel bad for n-ggas / Y’all so outta sight, outta mind / I can’t even think of a Drake line / Play J. Cole, get the pussy dry.”
